Target Information
ST6GAL1 유전자는 CMP-sialic acid로부터 galactose 함유 기질로 시알산을 전달하는 Type II 막 단백질을 암호화합니다.
이 단백질은 주로 골지체에 존재하지만, 단백질 분해를 통해 가용성 형태로 전환될 수 있습니다.
세포 표면 탄수화물 결정체 및 분화 항원 HB-6, CDw75, CD76의 생성에 관여하며, glycosyltransferase family 29에 속합니다.
세 가지 전사 변이체가 확인되어 있으며, 두 가지 이소폼을 암호화합니다.
