This antibody recognizes TDRD3 (Tudor domain-containing protein 3) and binds to a folded domain (amino acids 1–455).
TDRD3 acts as a scaffolding protein that specifically recognizes and binds dimethylarginine-containing proteins.

Target Information

TDRD3 belongs to the tudor domain group of proteins, involved in RNA metabolism.
It is widely expressed and mainly localized in the cytoplasm.
Detected in heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, and pancreas.
Overexpression induces stress granule formation.
Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing variants.
In humans, the gene is located on chromosome 13.
