Target Information
AXL은 만성 골수성 백혈병 관련 온코진으로, 대장암 및 흑색종과도 연관되어 있습니다. AXL 단백질은 수용체 티로신 키나아제로서, 성장 인자(GAS6 등)와 결합하여 세포 증식 신호를 전달합니다.
TAM 수용체는 세포사멸(apoptotic cell) 포식 작용에도 관여하며, TAM 수용체 결손 마우스는 자가면역 질환과 관련된 퇴행성 표현형을 보입니다.
AXL은 필로바이러스의 잠재적 진입 수용체로 작용할 수 있으며, 특정 인간 혈액 수지상세포(Siglec 6+/Axl+)의 표지자로도 사용됩니다.
TLR 리간드(LPS, poly I:C 등)는 AXL 발현을 유도할 수 있으며, 용해형 AXL은 막형 단백질의 단백질분해 절단으로 생성됩니다. 혈장 내 AXL 농도 증가는 염증 및 암의 지표로 활용될 수 있습니다.
