The eB121-15F9 monoclonal antibody reacts with the μ heavy chain of mouse IgM and does not cross-react with other mouse immunoglobulin classes (IgD, IgG, IgA). IgM is expressed intracellularly during early B cell development and on the surface of mature B cells in bone marrow and peripheral lymphoid tissues.
Fluorochrome-conjugated eB121-15F9 can be used as a secondary detection reagent for mouse IgM.

Target Information
Mouse IgM is an immunoglobulin M antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the first antibody generated during an immune response and the largest immunoglobulin in serum. Composed of five heavy and five light chains, it plays a key role in complement activation and antigen agglutination.
Mouse IgM is widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry.
