Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of Flt3 / CD135 only when phosphorylated at Tyr589.
Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase belonging to the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family. Activation occurs through ligand binding to the extracellular domain, inducing homodimer formation and receptor autophosphorylation. The activated receptor phosphorylates multiple cytoplasmic effectors involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. Constitutive activation mutations are associated with acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
