Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Endostatin.
Anti-Human Endostatin-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect hEndostatin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required.
This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human Endostatin (500-P262) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hEndostatin.

Western Blot:
To detect hEndostatin by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL.
Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hEndostatin is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Endostatin evokes a non-uniform response in endothelial cell proliferation, adhesion, and migration, depending on cell type. It inhibits angiogenesis and tumor growth in vivo by inducing apoptosis in endothelial cells.
Local delivery of endostatin reduces tumor-associated microvessel density, diameter, and functionality. It significantly decreases tumor cell migration and invasion.
Endostatin is non-toxic, does not induce drug resistance, and is considered a promising therapeutic strategy for solid tumors, including gliomas.
Its anti-angiogenic effect is partly mediated by Zn²⁺ binding and elastase processing. Endostatin is expressed in elastic fibers of vessel walls and basement membranes and accumulates in amyloid plaques in Alzheimer’s disease.
