Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
CD10 (Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen, CALLA) is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity that inactivates various biologically active peptides. It is expressed on lymphoblastic, Burkitt’s, and follicular germinal center lymphomas, immature B cells, breast myoepithelial cells, bile canaliculi, fibroblasts, and kidney and gut epithelial cells.
CD10 is a 100 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein that cleaves peptides at the amino side of hydrophobic residues and inactivates peptide hormones such as glucagon, enkephalins, substance P, neurotensin, oxytocin, and bradykinin. The gene exhibits alternative splicing in the 5′ untranslated region, producing four mRNA transcripts without affecting the coding region.
Diseases associated with CD10 dysfunction include spinocerebellar ataxia 43 and Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease.
