This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
CD14 is a 55 kDa GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. It functions as a lipopolysaccharide receptor and exists both as a membrane-bound and soluble form. CD14 binds LPS in conjunction with LBP, playing a role in immune response modulation and apoptotic cell recognition. It is implicated in allergic, inflammatory, and infectious processes. Diseases associated with CD14 dysfunction include Mycobacterium chelonae infection and croup.
