Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to its receptor PD-1, negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 engagement reduces TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. It is abundantly expressed in many murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation, suggesting a role in tumor immune evasion.
