Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine IL-15. Anti-Murine IL-15-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect mIL-15 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine IL-15 (500-P173) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant mIL-15.

Western Blot:
To detect mIL-15 by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. In conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant mIL-15 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

IL-15 (Interleukin 15):
IL-15 is a cytokine that regulates T and natural killer (NK) cell activation and proliferation. It shares receptor subunits and biological activities with IL-2 and can modulate the balance of CD8+ memory cells. IL-15 activates JAK kinases and transcription factors STAT3, STAT5, and STAT6, influencing apoptosis inhibition via Bcl-xL. It plays key roles in immune responses, lymphocyte growth, and inflammatory processes such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and pulmonary inflammation. IL-15 is a potential therapeutic target in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
