Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Tribbles (TRIB) proteins are inhibitors of cell division originally identified in Drosophila. Mammalian homologues, including TRIB3 (also known as TRB-3, SINK, SKIP3), regulate mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) activity. Overexpression of TRIB3 inhibits NF-κB–dependent transcription induced by tumor necrosis factor (TNF) without affecting NF-κB nuclear translocation or DNA binding. TRIB3/SKIP3 is overexpressed in multiple human tumors and is regulated by hypoxia.
