Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody 25F9 recognizes a protein expressed on mature macrophages, both on the cell surface and within intracellular vesicular structures. Expression correlates with endocytic macrophages and is absent in immature macrophages, monocytes, or other hematopoietic cells.

• Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested using cultured human macrophages derived from monocytes. Recommended usage is 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
• Fluorochrome Information: eFluor™ 660 replaces Alexa Fluor™ 647; excitation 633–647 nm, emission 668 nm, detectable with red laser.
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
