Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The RAD23B protein is one of two human homologs of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rad23, which participates in nucleotide excision repair (NER).
It complements the NER defect in xeroderma pigmentosum group C (XP-C) cell extracts and interacts with 3-methyladenine-DNA glycosylase (MPG), suggesting a role in DNA damage recognition during base excision repair.
The N-terminal ubiquitin-like domain interacts with the 26S proteasome, implicating RAD23B in the ubiquitin-mediated proteolytic pathway.
