Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
NOR-1 (NR4A3) is a NR4 nerve growth factor-like receptor involved in neuronal development, T-cell apoptosis, and cancer progression.
It binds to NBRE (NGFI-B response element) and regulates the pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) gene.
NOR-1 expression is rapidly but transiently induced by various stimuli, and its downregulation is associated with addiction-prone behavior in Lewis rats.
Three human isoforms are documented: NOR-1, NOR-1β, and NOR-1 3′ variant.
