In ELISAs, this antibody does not cross-react with recombinant human IL-17E, or recombinant mouse IL-17, IL-17B, IL-17C, IL-17D, or IL-17F.
Target Information
Interleukin 25 (IL-25) is a member of the IL-17 family and functions as a proinflammatory cytokine produced by Th17 effector cells. It plays a role in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis by activating NF-kappa-B and stimulating IL-8 production. IL-25 activity is regulated through IL-23, IL-5, and TGF-beta.
