Product Specific Information
- In Western blots, less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse CCL27/CTACK is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
The CCL27 gene is part of the CC cytokine family located on chromosome 9p. These cytokines are secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes, characterized by two adjacent cysteines.
CCL27 is chemotactic for skin-associated memory T lymphocytes and may mediate lymphocyte homing to cutaneous sites. It binds specifically to chemokine receptor 10 (CCR10).
Studies of the murine homolog suggest a key role in T cell-mediated skin inflammation.
