• In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) TIM-1 is observed.
• Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human TIM-1, recombinant rat TIM-2, rmTIM-3, rmTIM-4, rmTIM-6, and rmTIM-7.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

CD365, also known as T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 1 (Tim-1), is a type I surface glycoprotein with an extracellular N-terminal immunoglobulin V-like domain, a mucin domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail.
Its endogenous ligand is Tim-4. CD365 acts as a receptor or co-receptor for multiple viruses, including hepatitis A and C, Ebola, Marburg, Dengue, Zika, West Nile, and Japanese encephalitis viruses.
Binding occurs via phosphatidylserine exposed on viral envelopes.
Polymorphisms in the human CD365 gene (HAVCR1) are associated with infection susceptibility and disease severity.
CD365 is involved in T-cell co-stimulation and is primarily expressed in epithelial cells and cell lines such as A549, 769-P, and Caco-2.
It also exists as a soluble protein generated by metalloproteinase-mediated cleavage.
