For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

Endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase 1 (ERAP1) is a 120 kDa protein localized in the ER lumen. It removes NH₂-terminal residues from antigenic precursors for MHC class I peptide presentation. ERAP1 trims peptides of 9 amino acids or more and is induced by interferon-gamma.
The human ERAP1 gene maps to chromosome 5q15 and is also known as:

• A-LAP (Adipocyte-derived leucine aminopeptidase)
• PILS-AP (Puromycin-insensitive leucine-specific aminopeptidase)
• ARTS-1 (Aminopeptidase regulator of TNFR1 shedding)

A-LAP may regulate blood pressure via angiotensin II inactivation. PILS-AP plays a role in angiogenesis, and ARTS-1 promotes TNFR1 shedding. Further studies are needed to fully elucidate ERAP1 functions.
