Product Specific Information

The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA), expressed by all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. CD45 has tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Mouse bone marrow cells (≤0.125 µg/test; 100 µL final volume; 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize antibody titration for best performance.

Fixation Recommendations:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal brightness loss.

Target Information

CD45 (LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells (~10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes). It regulates Src-family kinases, T/B-cell receptor signaling, cytokine receptor pathways, and integrin-mediated survival signaling. CD45 isoforms differ by alternative splicing and are essential for immune cell function.
