Product Specific Information

The eBioA1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD39 (ENTPD1 or NTPDase), an integral membrane protein forming a homotetramer and functioning as an ectoenzyme in the immune system. CD39 removes extracellular ATP by converting it to ADP or AMP and works with CD73 to hydrolyze ATP.

Expression of CD39 is observed on activated lymphocytes, subsets of T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, and weakly on monocytes and granulocytes. CD39 and CD73 are also expressed on regulatory T cells (Treg), facilitating entry into inflamed areas with high ATP levels. Expression on Foxp3+CD4+ cells ranges from 25–45%.

Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.125 µg)/test. Recommended to titrate for optimal performance.

Target Information

CD39 is a 70–100 kDa cell surface antigen expressed on peripheral blood B cells, monocytes, T cell clones, and weakly on granulocytes. It possesses ecto-ATPase activity and its expression increases on B cells and T cells upon activation.
