Mouse anti-Human Talin antibody, clone TA205 recognizes human talin, an approximately 225 kDa cytoskeletal protein.
Target Information
Talin is a multifunctional constituent of cell-substratum attachment sites and a high molecular weight protein (225–235 kDa) found in various tissues and cell types. It is localized at a subset of adherens junctions and specialized cell-cell and cell-matrix associations characterized by filamentous actin at the cytoplasmic face of the junctional complex.
In cultured cells, talin is absent from cell-cell junctions and found predominantly at adhesion plaques and in fibrillar streaks underlying cell surface fibronectin. Talin interacts with other proteins localized at adhesion plaques, including vinculin and integrin.
