Target Information
CHUK (IKK alpha) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in signal transduction and cellular communication. It is part of the cytokine-activated protein complex that regulates the NF-κB pathway. Together with IKK beta and NEMO (IKK gamma), it phosphorylates IκB proteins, leading to their ubiquitin-mediated degradation. IKK alpha plays a key role in inflammation and cell survival processes.
