Target Information
STAT3는 STAT (signal transducers and activators of transcription) 단백질 계열에 속하며, 수용체 관련 키나아제에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동 후 전사인자로 작용합니다.
STAT3는 Interferon-α, Interferon-γ, EGF, PDGF, IL-6 등에 의해 활성화될 수 있으며, Tyr705의 인산화는 이량체 형성, 핵 이동, DNA 결합에 필수적입니다.
STAT3 유전자는 인간 17번 염색체 q arm에 위치하며, 다양한 세포 자극에 반응하여 유전자 발현을 매개하고 세포 성장 및 세포사멸 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
