Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-2 R gamma is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
Interleukin 15 receptor alpha (IL-15RA) specifically binds IL-15 with high affinity. IL-15 regulates T and NK cell activation and proliferation. IL-15 and IL-2 receptors share IL-2Rβ and IL-2Rγ subunits, while IL-15RA is structurally related to IL-2RA, an IL-2-specific alpha subunit. Unlike IL-2RA, IL-15RA binds IL-15 independently of other subunits and enhances cell proliferation and expression of apoptosis inhibitors Bcl-xL and Bcl-2.
