For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PIK3CG (p110 gamma) is the only class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase family member, generating the second messenger PIP2.
Unlike class IA enzymes that signal downstream of receptor tyrosine kinases, PIK3CG primarily signals downstream of GPCRs.
It phosphorylates phosphoinositides on the 3-hydroxyl group of the inositol ring and modulates extracellular signals, including those from E-cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion, important for epithelial integrity.
PIK3CG also plays a role in regulating NK cell cytotoxicity and is located in a commonly deleted segment of chromosome 7 associated with myeloid leukemias.
