For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PIK3CG (p110 gamma) is the sole class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase family member, generating the second messenger PIP2. Unlike class IA enzymes that signal via receptor tyrosine kinases, PIK3CG primarily signals downstream of GPCRs.
This enzyme phosphorylates phosphoinositides on the 3-hydroxyl group of the inositol ring and modulates extracellular signals, including those from E-cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion, crucial for epithelial integrity.
Additionally, PIK3CG plays a role in NK cell cytotoxicity regulation and is located in a chromosome 7 segment frequently deleted in myeloid leukemias.
