For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PIK3CG (p110 gamma) is the sole class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase family member, generating the second messenger PIP2. Unlike class IA enzymes that signal downstream of receptor tyrosine kinases, PIK3CG primarily signals downstream of GPCRs.
This enzyme phosphorylates phosphoinositides on the 3-hydroxyl group of the inositol ring and modulates extracellular signals, including those from E-cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion. It contributes to maintaining epithelial structure and function and regulates cytotoxicity in NK cells.
The PIK3CG gene is located in a region of chromosome 7 commonly deleted in myeloid leukemias.
