이 단백질은 CREB1 및 ATF1 전사 인자의 인산화를 매개하며, RELA, STAT3, ETV1/ER81 등의 전사 인자 조절에 관여합니다.
히스톤 인산화를 통한 유전자 발현 조절 및 염증 관련 유전자 발현 억제에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 TNF 자극, 글루코코르티코이드 반응, 산화 스트레스, EGF 및 anisomycin 처리 시 RELA 및 STAT3의 활성 조절에 관여합니다.
