Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Macrophage receptor that binds apolipoprotein B48 (APOB) of dietary triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRL) or a similar domain of APOB in hypertriglyceridemic very low-density lipoprotein (HTG-VLDL).
It binds and internalizes TRL, potentially providing essential lipids to reticuloendothelial cells and participating in foam cell formation under elevated TRL and remnant lipoprotein (RLP) conditions.
Mediates high-affinity uptake of chylomicrons (CM), HTG-VLDL, and trypsinized VLDL (devoid of APOE) in vitro in macrophages.
