A BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with bat, rat, primate, mouse, and human based on 100% sequence homology.
Cross-reactivity with PI4K beta from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
PI4KB and PI4KA are the two human type III PI4 kinases, sharing sequence similarity with PI3 kinases and phosphorylating the 4 position of phosphatidylinositol.
These enzymes may play a role in neuronal differentiation and maturation, and are involved in the transport of amino acids such as alanine, serine, cysteine, and threonine.
