Product Specific Information
This antibody is expected to show broad species reactivity.
For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Cytokeratin pan belongs to the intermediate filament protein family, exhibiting remarkable biochemical diversity. Human epithelial tissues express at least 20 different cytokeratin polypeptides ranging from 40–68 kDa, with isoelectric points between 4.9–7.8.
Cytokeratin expression patterns vary depending on epithelial type and maturation stage, and are widely used for distinguishing epithelial malignancies.
Cytokeratin antibodies are valuable tools in immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry, aiding in tumor diagnosis and epithelial cell characterization.
Keratin expression patterns are also useful markers in cancer research and tumor diagnostics.
