Product Specific Information
This antibody is expected to show broad species reactivity.
For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed), incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Cytokeratin pan is part of a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins that exhibit remarkable biochemical diversity. In human epithelial tissues, at least 20 different cytokeratin polypeptides are represented, ranging in molecular weight from 40 kDa to 68 kDa and isoelectric pH between 4.9–7.8.
Human cytokeratins are numbered 1 to 20. Expression patterns vary by epithelial type and differentiation stage.
Cytokeratin subtype expression is useful for distinguishing epithelial malignancies and serves as a diagnostic aid in tumor identification through immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry.
Keratin markers are valuable tools in cancer research and tumor diagnosis.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
