Product Specific Information
This antibody is expected to show broad species reactivity.
For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues: incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
For formalin-fixed tissues, heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Cytokeratin pan belongs to a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by biochemical diversity. Human epithelial tissues express at least 20 different cytokeratin polypeptides, ranging in molecular weight from 40–68 kDa and isoelectric point from 4.9–7.8.
Expression patterns of cytokeratin subtypes are characteristic of epithelial type and differentiation state, aiding in distinguishing epithelial malignancies.
Cytokeratin antibodies are valuable in tumor differential diagnosis using immunohistochemistry, as well as in cytopathology and flow cytometry.
Keratin markers are widely used in cancer research and tumor diagnostics.
