For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Anaplastic Lymphoma Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (ALK) belongs to the insulin receptor superfamily and plays an essential role in brain development.
Mutations, rearrangements, and amplifications in the ALK gene are associated with several tumors, including anaplastic large cell lymphoma, neuroblastoma, and non-small cell lung cancer.
The most common alteration is chromosomal rearrangement, producing a fusion gene between ALK (chromosome 2) and NPM (chromosome 5), resulting in the oncogenic NPM-ALK fusion protein.
ALK encodes a receptor protein-tyrosine kinase with a transmembrane and extracellular domain, which are absent in the NPM-ALK fusion product.
ALK shows the highest sequence similarity to LTK and is critical for neuronal development.
