Product Specific Information
Reconstitute with 0.5 mL PBS containing 0.1% BSA.
Prior to reconstitution, store at 4ºC. After reconstitution, store undiluted at -20ºC, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
Rabbit anti-Mouse SF-20 antibody recognizes mouse stromal cell-derived growth factor 20 (SF-20), also known as interleukin-25 (IL-25), a 166 amino acid secreted growth factor and member of the UPF0556 family.
Target Information
Interleukin 25 (IL-25) is a member of the IL-17 family and functions as a proinflammatory cytokine produced by Th17 effector cells. It enables the Th17 subset to initiate or maintain autoimmune processes in diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis.
IL-25 induces activation of NF-kappa-B and stimulates production of the proinflammatory chemokine IL-8. It is activated through IL-23, IL-5, and TGF-beta.
