Target Information
Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of beta-1 integrin, mediating integrin-related signal transduction. It contains four ankyrin-like repeats and plays a crucial role in transducing extracellular matrix signals through integrins, influencing various intracellular and extracellular functions. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
