Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, human, mouse, non-human primate, Xenopus, and zebrafish based on 100% sequence homology.
It specifically recognizes the ~46 kDa EphrinB protein phosphorylated at Tyr298. Immunolabeling can be blocked by lambda-phosphatase treatment.

Target Information

EPHB2 is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the ephrin receptor family. Members of the Eph family play critical roles in biological processes such as nervous system development, angiogenesis, and neural synapse formation and maturation.
Ephrins are divided into two classes: ephrin-A (EFNA), which are GPI-anchored, and ephrin-B (EFNB), which are transmembrane proteins. Eph receptors are categorized into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and ligand-binding affinity. EphB4 binds to ephrin-B2 and is essential for vascular development.
