- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.01% cross-reactivity is observed with recombinant human or mouse MCP family members and related chemokines.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
This gene encodes a cytokine located on chromosome 17q, part of a cytokine cluster involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The encoded protein belongs to the CXC cytokine subfamily, characterized by two cysteines separated by one amino acid. MCP-1 shows chemotactic activity for monocytes and basophils, and is implicated in diseases with monocytic infiltration such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and atherosclerosis. It binds to chemokine receptors CCR2 and CCR4.
