Product Specific Information

The M5/114.15.2 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class II molecules (I-A and I-E subregion-encoded glycoproteins). It detects polymorphic determinants on B cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated T lymphocytes from mice carrying specific H-2 haplotypes (H-2 b, d, q, p, r, u).

Light Sensitivity: Protect from light; tandem dye sensitive to photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution for up to 3 days at 4°C in dark.
Not Compatible: Methanol-based fixation.

Target Information

MHC class II molecules are transmembrane glycoproteins expressed on professional antigen-presenting cells (macrophages, dendritic cells, B cells). They present endocytosed exogenous antigens to T cells via a peptide-binding groove 15–24 amino acids long.

HLA and MHC antibodies are crucial in Immunopeptidomics, aiding neoantigen identification through LC-MS/MS analysis.
