Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
GADD153 is a small nuclear protein that can dimerize with transcription factors C/EBP alpha and beta. This dimer inhibits normal C/EBP binding and function, while gaining activity toward non-classical stress-related C/EBP targets.
Under normal conditions, GADD153 expression is undetectable but is highly upregulated under cellular or ER stress, such as tunicamycin treatment, nutrient starvation, or reducing agents affecting calcium flux across the ER membrane.
