Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies. They offer consistent performance across lots by eliminating biological variability.
This product was formerly known as “Recombinant Polyclonal Antibody” and is now rebranded as “Recombinant Superclonal™ Antibody.” The product’s physical properties and performance remain the same.

Target Information

Interleukin-31 (IL-31) is a T-cell cytokine related to IL-6 type cytokines, primarily produced by T helper type 2 cells. IL-31 activity involves a receptor complex of IL-31 receptor A and oncostatin M receptor, activating the JAK/STAT and AKT pathways. Overexpression of IL-31 can induce pruritus, alopecia, and skin lesions, and is implicated in atopic dermatitis, making it a potential target for antipruritic drug development.
