Target Information
LDL 관련 단백질인 LRP5와 LRP6은 LDL 수용체 초가족에 속하며, canonical Wnt 신호전달 경로에 관여합니다. LRP6은 Wnt1과 결합하여 발생 과정을 촉진하며, LRP6 결손 마우스는 다양한 Wnt 단백질 결핍 시 나타나는 발달 이상을 보입니다. 또한 Wnt 단백질은 LRP5와 Axin 결합을 유도하여 Axin 분해 및 β-catenin 안정화를 초래합니다.
