For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The SPG7 gene encodes a mitochondrial metalloprotease protein belonging to the AAA family. Proteins in this family share an ATPase domain and are involved in various cellular processes such as membrane trafficking, intracellular motility, organelle biogenesis, protein folding, and proteolysis.
Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal recessive spastic paraplegia 7. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
