Target Information
GLS2 유전자는 미토콘드리아 내 인산염 활성 글루타미나제를 암호화하며, 글루타민을 글루탐산과 암모니아로 가수분해하는 반응을 촉매합니다. 이 단백질은 신장 글루타미나제와 기능적으로 유사하지만 크기가 약간 작습니다. 원래 간 특이적으로 알려졌으나 다른 조직에서도 발현이 확인되었습니다. 또한, 최소 하나의 전사된 위유전자가 보고되어 있습니다.
