Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

TYW2 (also known as TRMT12) is an enzyme involved in the wybutosine-tRNA (Phe) biosynthesis pathway.
Wybutosine (yW) is a hypermodified guanosine located adjacent to the anticodon of phenylalanine tRNA, stabilizing codon-anticodon interactions during ribosomal decoding.
TYW2 participates in a multistep enzymatic reaction that ensures accurate translation by stabilizing base-pairing during decoding.
TYW2 amplification has been observed in multiple breast cancer cell lines, and overexpression (>2-fold) was detected in most breast tumor samples, suggesting a potential role in breast cancer progression.
