The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
CHRNA9 is a member of the ligand-gated ionic channel family and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor superfamily. It is a plasma membrane protein that forms homo- or hetero-oligomeric divalent cation channels. CHRNA9 is involved in cochlear hair cell development and is expressed in the outer hair cells (OHCs) of the adult cochlea. The protein is also expressed in keratinocytes, the pituitary gland, B-cells, and T-cells.
