Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits and screen individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
PABPN1 encodes a nuclear protein that binds nascent poly(A) tails with high affinity. It regulates poly(A) tail polymerization at the 3′ ends of eukaryotic transcripts, controlling tail length to approximately 250 nucleotides.
At steady state, the protein localizes to the nucleus, whereas a distinct poly(A) binding protein resides in the cytoplasm.
Expansion of a GCG trinucleotide repeat (from 6 to 8–13 copies) in the coding region causes autosomal dominant oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy (OPMD). Related pseudogenes are found on chromosomes 19 and X, and read-through transcription occurs with the upstream BCL2L2 gene.
