For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Estrogen Receptors (ER) are nuclear receptors belonging to the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily.
When bound to estrogen, ER undergoes a conformational change enabling dimerization and DNA binding to estrogen response elements (EREs).
ERs regulate gene transcription by recruiting coactivator or corepressor proteins. Two receptor forms exist—ERα (ESR1) and ERβ (ESR2)—encoded by separate genes.
At least four ERα isoforms are known (66, 53, 47, and 35 kDa).
ERs are expressed in various tissues, essential for sexual development and reproductive function, and implicated in breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and osteoporosis.
