For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) is a proinflammatory cytokine expressed by monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It is synthesized as a 31 kDa inactive pro-form that accumulates in the cytosol and is cleaved into the active 17 kDa form upon inflammasome activation.
IL-1β signals through IL-1RI and IL-1RII receptors, shared with IL-1α, and its activity is regulated by IL-1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA). It plays a critical role in innate immune defense by inducing proinflammatory cytokine production and acute-phase responses. Elevated IL-1β levels are linked to chronic inflammatory diseases, and IL-1β neutralizing antibodies have potential therapeutic value.
