Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase is a dual-specificity protein kinase functioning in MAPK cascades that control cell growth and differentiation. It is activated by growth factors, cytokines, membrane depolarization, and calcium influx.
MEK1 activation occurs via phosphorylation at serine 218 and 222 residues by Raf1. It participates in stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation.
Mutations in MAP2K1 may lead to cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
